Hello! I'm so excited you've found your way here! My name is Elise Meyer and I’m a Customer Experience and Learning & Development Specialist turned UX Designer.
"Why the switch?" you may ask. Well, my time in the customer experience world exposed me to numerous cases of poor user experience, and while remedying the situation was important and left many customers satisfied, I always found myself itching to be more proactive and wanting to solve the user problems before they even happened.
Thus began my exploration into the UX design world. During my studies, I learned many things, from how to effectively empathize with users to how to conduct a usability study and gain insights for prototype iterations. But, perhaps most importantly, I learned that in order to create a truly great design, and as a result, a positive user experience, it is vital to keep the users' needs front and center throughout the entire process.
As Google states in their company's philosophy: Focus on the user and all else will follow. This could not be more true.
Creating beautiful designs with users as my touchstone is my passion, and I’d love to work with you to make your design dreams come true!
